spinnin’ presents cr∆ck: event and promo videos

CR∆CK flyerAfter incorporating Bass and Trap into their successful b-monthly Hip Hop night Lean Back, the Spinnin’ crew decided it was time to set up shop and organize a party dedicated purely to Trap and Bass. The result is the 100% DIY organized and financed event on the 17th of May (next Friday!) called CR∆CK.

For this first edition residents Sands & Skidz have invited a full UK line-up to Club Poema in Utrecht (NL): S-X, Stööki Sound and XXTRAKT will all be doing their thing in the same basement-club where a lot of huge techno DJ’s and act have stood before. Surely Trap is a whole different ballgame, but in the scheme of Electronic Dance Music it must be nice to play in the same spot where the likes of Speedy J, DJ Rush and Alexander Kowalski have brought down the ceiling before.

Since this a first edition of an indepently organized party, Spinnin’ have pulled out all the stops: A dope flyer by Bas Strien, a professionally produced promo video (see below), ticket actions by sneakerstore Lock & Load / tattooshop Le Rouche / Everyday Fresh / Party App, a who’s who of Dutch heroes on Instagram flaunting the flyer, and a graffiti piece in celebration of the event (also see below).

Before you check out the promo videos and the music of the artists, be sure to also check the sets Sands & Skidz have done for Raw Basics. They’ll be rocking that party the day before CR∆CK, and the entrance is free!

So in short: be there or be ∆! This Friday 17/05/2013 at Club Poema. The venue is situated at a 5min walk from the Utrecht Central Station, so if you’re from Amsterdam / Rotterdam / The Hague you can catch a night train! Check out the CR∆CK facebook event here and look us up!

First off, the official promo. Big thanks goes to Trap City for hosting and pushing this on their Youtube channel!

Second off a little slideshow of the graffiti piece done by yours truely. Thanks Sands & Skidz for letting me get up!

And last but definitely not least: some video’s of the artists ripping it up!
